The Piedmont Adventure Loop (ThePAL) is a short but super scenic 145+ Mile Loop with 67% running on Dirt, Gravel, Sand, and Unpaved Roads traveling through WMAs and a Wildlife Refuge making a loop around the city of Monticello, GA. The Loop is an enjoyable route through a beautiful area of Georgia which includes some water crossings. Per usual, the trail is not meant to be technical or difficult but can become very challening when wet.
